The Trinidad team arrived in a flurry of
different-sized groups to rendezvous for our 10PM flight to Port of Spain.
First order of business? Pre-flight food and drink. A group of us went to the
renowned Caplanskies for authentic Eastern European fare, from smoked meats to
omelettes to latkes.
Back at the gate, strategies to pass time
include working on essays, theses, and obviously sleeping, all continued after
the excitement of boarding the airplane.
Tomorrow's itinerary starts early, with
touchdown at 5 AM and departure to survey some of the mountains of Northern
Trinidad as soon as we've taken breakfast and - vitally - coffee. The flight
takes off very soon, so this is the Trinidad Crew signing off. Stay tuned, and
